Nathalie Memory, presentation
Le Havre author and illustrator, Nathalie Minne spoke in the class on Tuesday 3 march in order to present his profession.
Ensuite, she made a rabbit and a squirrel as in her last album: “THE AMIVERSARY” in front of the students:

Mardi 3/03/2020: dictation to adults on the presentation of Nathalie Minne's work:
She showed us pages of her books. The big owl Wizard, the stickers on the rope (the garland in the trees).
She made a rabbit and a squirrel.
The rabbit: she made ears, feet, a toddler heart, a hand, a pocket in his coat, trousers, the eyes. Eyes with pencil and glue, a flower ; the head too.
The squirrel: she queued. She put the glue, before she cut out. She put the shoes on with her feet on, legs, les mains, head with horns. After the eyes, the nose, cheeks, the mouth, the nose, the body: like a coat. She made the earth with a pencil, a heart too.
On illustrations and books:
les biscornus, they are afraid of the dark because there are bat shadows like Batman. Il y a un cerf qui vole dans le brouillard. La grenouille avec le cerf, elle ressemble à Gluglu des Pyjamasque. On a vu un loup, des loups. Avec les loups, il y avait un biscornu; sinon les biscornus ils auraient peur que les loups les mangent. La cigogne, elle a peur que le loup la mange.
C’était bien. Je ne le connaissais pas.
Qui est Nathalie Minne : elle écrit des livres et fait des dessins : c’est une illustratrice.

Tuesday 10 mars Nathalie Minne est revenue dans la classe afin de réaliser une oeuvre avec les élèves de la classe. La semaine précédente, ils avaient, à l’unanimité, choisi leur personnage préféré: le hibou magicien. Nathalie Minne a préparé les pochoirs et les élèves le fond:

I painted: blanche, grey, golden, yellow. I painted with glitter.
It was the magical owl. We made the crescent moon.
I painted with my hands, with a sponge, with a stencil.
How was it?
C’était bien, Very good. Me, it was really good. It was awesome.
We preferred to paint. We are tired of our day!
Do you think the job as an illustrator is easy to do?
Not everyone can be an illustrator. Me, I will not be not author or illustrator, it is too hard. I would rather be a firefighter, police officer or ambulance. I prefer to be a mouse or a knight. Me a ghost. Me Rapunzel when I grow up and Frozen too. Me a fairy, a super hero. Me, I'm going to change my profession and transform myself into a Spiderman.

Cirque in the factory of Aplemont
Nous avons commencé les séances de cirque avec Bertrand et Camille.
Après deux séances de jonglerie à l’école, nous partons à la fabrique d’Aplemont pour faire des séances d’aérien et d’équilibre sur objets.
Nous sommes très fiers de prendre le Tramway et ravis de faire des acrobaties, de nous balancer dans le tissu, ou sur le trapèze. Nous n’avons même pas peur de nous envoler dans les airs avec l’élastique !
